I am inspired by the the interplay of energies created by combinations of Diamonds, Opals, Druses, and unusual gemstones, as well as the familiar, such as Lapis, Amethyst, and Tourmalines.

                My bond with the earth's treasures began when I merged geology with East Asian religious studies at Indiana University. Although mostly self-taught, an intensive course in jewellry at Penland Art School increased my technical knowledge of silver and goldsmithing.
