Meet the Artist
Colors and shapes from deep within the earth attract your eye and call to your heart; connecting you with the energies of the planet.
Nature’s palette provides the paint for my jewelry designs. Each unique piece is handmade in a very personal response to these fossils and gemstones.
I am inspired by the interplay of energies created by combinations of Opals, Druses, Diamonds and unusual gemstones, as well as the familiar, such as Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst, Pearls and Tourmalines.
For over thirty years I have been playing with all of these wondrous earth’s treasures. A love affair that started after I took a Geology course work along with East Asian studies. I have also taken jewelry making classes at Penland Art School, Penland, North Carolina, Indianapolis Art Center, Indianapolis, IN and the Florida Goldsmith’s Society workshops, New Smyrna, Florida. I have sold my work at art fairs all over the country and in By Hand gallery (30 years) and Spears Gallery (5 years).
My portfolio includes one-of-a-kind and custom pieces; popular styles in limited editions; custom designed earrings, bracelets, pendants and rings.
